Blog #1: Putting things in your own hands.

2020 marks the most dreadful beginning of this still on-going pandemic. The year of uncertainties; fear of heath, fear of unemployment and so much more.

I still remember as if it was just yesterday. So many plans in the making, and so little time to jot everything down. When I first heard about the case in 2019 of December, I was already petrified knowing millions of people visit China on a daily for traveling and or vacation. Then it was a just a matter of time when it hit close to home.

Things definitely took a turn, and it was a turn that drastically took place within a few months. March of 2020 was where "work from home" was implemented and in all honestly it was pretty amazing from the beginning; had a few more hours of shut eyes, no traffic and enjoyed more time doing things that I enjoyed.

Unfortunately, because of the crisis things didn't go as planned. Ups and downs all around, it felt like I was spinning 360 degrees. Nothing seemed right anymore, it was hard on the heart emotionally and physically. I'm not going to lie, I've struggled greatly and had to make life decisions and sacrifices in order to be as clear minded as I am today.

Fast forwarding to 2022, things are finally picking up and I am now able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Originally our plan was to get our newly built home at the end of 2020, but unfortunately due to the crisis construction materials wasn't widely available anymore which affected the pricing of construction. We had this plan in the making since the longest time I could remember, as of today we are waiting to sign our contract and is expecting our new home by spring/summer of 2023!!

Everything is in progress and is finally moving forward. Here in my blog I will share to you the whole construction step by step and how I will furnish my future home. I also have the love for technology, innovation and do-it-yourself type things. So I will definitely share those as well!
